"Blood Love" (also known as "The Bay Road of Love") is an emotional TV series directed by Dou Qi and co-written by Fang Hongyou, starring Zuo Ling, Zhang Guoli, You Yongzhi and others. It premiered in mainland China in 1996. The drama has 16 episodes in total, and the starring cast includes Zuo Ling (played by Chen Xing), Zhang Guoli (played by Xu Minghao), You Yongzhi (played by Shen Ziqiang), Zhao Jing, Jin Qiaoqiao, Qian Jie, and Xu Jinjin. The play tells the story of drama actor Chen Xing (played by Zuo Ling) who succeeds in his career after being seconded to a TV station. Due to psychological imbalance, her husband Xu Minghao (played by Zhang Guoli) uses his relationship with his old lover Shen Ziqiang (played by You Yongzhi) to expand his advertising business. Chen Xing suffered cold violence after becoming pregnant. The fetus died due to syphilis in the mother's body and she was forced to divorce. She attempted suicide in despair. [By investigating the truth about her life experience, she discovered that she was suffering from fetal syphilis. She also produced a documentary program "Female Landscape" to expose the suffering of women in the old society, and finally achieved self-salvation and helped others.
