The union of two centuries, the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 21st, through the history of the Amazon. In the 21st century, the action is led by Milla, a young journalist who leaves Rio de Janeiro for Manaus in search of adventure, and her involvement with Lúcio, leader of a gang of swindlers from the port of Manaus, a boy who has visions. In these visions, Lúcio sees himself in the year 1899, when the exploitation of Amazonian rubber plantations dominated the scene, like Caio, son of the all-powerful Comendador Mangabeira and fiancé of the sweet Maria Luísa, daughter of the rubber merchant Peçanha, two families enriched by rubber. Caio is still involved with the seductive Camille, none other than Milla in the 21st century.
