Shi Zhenyue, the leader of Guangxi, moved to Guangzhou and set up a school to teach students. Later, because of jealousy of Huang Feihong (Liu Jiang), he always opposed the people in Baozhilin. Lin Shirong (Andy Lau) is a humble and simple man who makes a living by selling pork. He has a very good relationship with his childhood sweetheart Ouyang Jingjing. Sai Wing and Liang Kuan (Dong Wei) both admired Wong Fei Hung very much and often wanted to learn from him. Later, the two performed outstandingly during the birthday competition for the "Lucky Card", which won Wong Fei Hung's praise and accepted them as his apprentices. Jingjing originally had a deep love for Shirong, but when she saw that Shirong was only interested in practicing martial arts and showed nothing to her, when Nalan Zhengde (Tang Zhenye) pursued her, she switched her arms to Zhengde and married him. Duan Batian, a master of righteousness, was sinister and vicious. In order to seek fame and fortune, he did not hesitate to collude with the French and do evil. He repeatedly tried to assassinate Guangxi Black Flag General Liu Yongfu, but each time he was inadvertently sabotaged by Huang Feihong's disciples. Therefore, Duan Batian hated the people in Bao Zhilin and later enlisted Shi Zhenyue to join forces to deal with Huang Feihong. After Jingjing married Zhengde, Shirong became depressed and had no intention of working, so he accidentally fell into Ba Tian's trap. Fortunately, with Jingjing's help, he fled to Hong Kong. However, Zhengde learns about this, and he misunderstands that Jingjing still has unresolved feelings for Shirong. He is so jealous that he wants to assassinate Shirong, but accidentally kills Wong Feihong's son Huang Junyi. This is seen by Duan Batian, who uses this to threaten Zhengde to work for him. Seeing that Junyi died in vain for him and his master was imprisoned unjustly, Shirong immediately fled back to Guangzhou to investigate the truth.
