This novel-based story revolves mainly around four people who are drawn to Seogwipo, Jeju for a project. Kim Jung Woo and Lee Soo Hyun first met when they were children but lost track of each other for numerous years. Years later when Jung Woo meets Soo Hyun, he falls in love with her but his feelings are not reciprocated. Soo Hyun doesn't realize until much later that she's drawn to Jung Woo as well.
In Africa, Jungwoo is being chased by rebels. Meanwhile, during the 'Cirque du Soleil' performance in Las Vegas, Suhyun and Taehyuk look at each other. From a perspective in the past, Miyeon's mother drops off a mysterious baby in front of the daycare center.
As an adult, Jeong-woo intentionally hooks up a red sea bream for a fisherman, and is told by a detective who comes to visit him to cut off ties with Seok-tae. Under Chairman Jang's instructions, Jeong-woo visits Tae-hyuk in Seoul.
Jung-woo tells Tae-hyuk that he will do whatever Tae-hyuk tells him to do, just as Chairman Jang has instructed. Chairman Jang faces a setback in his business and asks Chairman Moon for help. And then he calls Jung-woo and makes a shocking request.
While Su-hyeon tells Sang-mi that she met Tae-hyuk at the graduation concert, she receives a phone call from Tae-hyuk. Tae-hyuk recalls what he found out about Su-hyeon from Jung-woo and reunites with Su-hyeon. Jungwoo receives a mysterious photo.
Jeong-woo is shocked when he sees his mother's photo, and becomes confused as he questions his own birth. Jackson Lee receives an offer from Chairman Yoo for the Jeju Island casino concession. Jeong-woo meets Suchang in prison.
Suchang asks about Il-il and asks the prison guard to leave. When Jeong-woo reveals to Suchang that Il-sil is his father, Suchang is surprised. Meanwhile, Jeong-woo goes to see Chairman Jeong, but is ignored, and is reminded of Chairman Jeong's words from the past.
Suchang suddenly visits Chairman Yoo and warns him that he will also visit Chairman Jang. Su-hyeon participates in the final interview for Cirque du Soleil but fails, but receives a new offer and is happy to inform Tae-hyuk.
Jungwoo's first mission with Kangrae and Sedol is to guard VIPs in Las Vegas. Taehyuk, who returned to Jeju Island, proposes running a casino business and performance. Taehyuk becomes angry when he sees Jeongwoo and Suhyeon together.
Tae-hyuk warns Jung-woo not to get involved with Soo-hyeon. Su-hyeon and Sang-mi witness Amy being kidnapped and ask Jeong-woo and his group for help. Meanwhile, while on VIP security duty, Jeong-woo is suddenly shot.
After many twists and turns, Jeong-woo rescues King Chachabo, and Chachabo, who is thrilled by this, takes out a rough diamond and asks to save his son who is being held captive by the rebels. In the end, Jeongwoo and his group head to Johannesburg.
Jackson Lee and his friends leave Jeong-woo behind for him and Su-hyeon. Jung-woo talks to Su-hyeon about his past and draws a line between her and Su-hyeon. Jeong-woo, who returns safely, learns a shocking truth about Chairman Jang.
Jeong-woo is shocked when he learns that Chairman Jang is his father. At the Jeju Casino Association launch ceremony, everyone is shocked by the appearance of Jung-woo along with Chairman Jang.
Jeongwoo spits out harsh words to his friends who feel betrayed. Tae-hyuk asks Chairman Jang about his intention in accepting Jung-woo, and Chairman Jang replies that it is compensation. Jeong-woo prepares a table for Tae-hyuk and Su-hyeon.
Disappointed, Soo-hyeon leaves, and Jeong-woo declares to Tae-hyuk that he no longer has feelings for Su-hyeon. On the casino opening day, Jackson sends in gamblers to cause sabotage, and Jeong-woo suggests a solution.
Jeong-woo reveals the identity of the gamblers and escapes the crisis, but Tae-hyuk is suspicious of Jeong-woo. Chairman Jang tells Jung-woo to pay attention to the casino business. Tae-hyuk suggests to Chairman Jang that he test Jeong-woo.
Su-hyeon is disappointed in Jeong-woo, who tries to stop Gi-gi's investigation, and warns Tae-hyuk that he cannot work with Daejeong Group due to suspicions about his parents' accident. After taking over Jungmun Casino, Chairman Jang plans to leave it to Jung Woo.
Chairman Jang advises Tae-hyuk that it is foolish to feel competitive with Jung-woo, whom he will use as his hand and foot. Soo-hyeon visits Jeong-woo and asks him to stop taking revenge, which is ruining himself, and Jeong-woo declares that he cannot quit.
Chairman Jang is puzzled by Jung-woo, who sheds tears after looking at Mi-yeon's painting, and advises him to focus only on acquiring the Jungmun Casino. Meanwhile, Na Bong-chul, the majority shareholder of Jungmun Casino and the boss of the organization, visits Daejeong Casino.
Chairman Jang says he can't leave Prosecutor Yoon and Soo-hyeon alone and draws a line telling them not to worry about Jung-woo. Meanwhile, Chairman Jang receives an arrest warrant and is shocked to learn that Tae-hyuk and Jeong-woo are brothers.
Chairman Jang says that Su-hyeon Il, who moved Prosecutor Yoon Je-myeong, should not be left alone, and when Jeong-woo asks what he plans to do, he says he does not need to know. Chairman Jang says he has a bad feeling and tells Chief Baek that if this summons goes wrong, you will have to step up. Chief Baek visits Chairman Moon and asks for his help, saying that he wants to use this opportunity to end his relationship with Chairman Jang. Meanwhile, Taehyuk is shocked when he learns that Jeongwoo is his brother...

Chairman Jang recalls the conversation he had with Jeong-woo before, and sheds tears of guilt as he recalls the first time he encountered Jeong-woo at the mysterious graveside. Meanwhile, Chief Baek suggests to Seok-tae that they join hands.
Jeong-woo is surprised to hear that Chairman Jang has handed over Daejeong Casino, and Tae-hyuk is overcome with a sense of betrayal. Chairman Jang tells Tae-hyuk to understand Jung-woo, but Tae-hyuk declares that he can never accept Jung-woo.
Jeong-woo is urgently arrested, and Chairman Jang desperately tries to get him out. Director Baek offers Taehyuk a deal to help him become the owner of Daejeong Group. Chairman Jang has Jeong-woo bring Director Baek.
Chairman Jang points a gun at Director Baek, but Director Baek confidently makes a shocking proposal. Chairman Jang drinks with Jung-woo and laments about his situation. Chairman Yoo and Miran ask Jackson what the ‘hidden card’ is.
