Today is Vali's big day. However, the wedding ceremony is unexpectedly complicated when the groom's best man collapses and Vali finally admits to herself how things really are with her wedding to Hojer. Maty returns from Prague after surgery, meets her new sister Eva, they know each other from before. Maty stands up for her against an aggressive patient, even though they have an unspoken feud. Filip takes advantage of the situation and blames Saša for the poor condition of the patient, although he knows very well that it is not her fault. A patient shows up at the emergency room with a very unusual combination of symptoms and it confuses the doctors.
Rasputin talks David into getting treatment. From now on, he is only allowed to appear in the hall as Filip's assistant. But the very first patient requires another operator for Rasputin, who is called David. But Mery doesn't report it to Filip. Prokop agrees with Petra that his mother can look after Sabina. But it doesn't end as he imagined, Sabina brings Prokop's mother to the emergency room. The scouts, who involuntarily spent a freezing night in nature, surprise Vali with unexpected consequences. And also a fracture after a fall on skis hides more than it would seem at first glance.
Filip wants David to work only at the ambulance until he starts treatment. Because of this, David is even considering leaving Rubava. Prokop promises his mother that he will look after her in the evening, but his plans are complicated by the injured Petra, whom he wants to take care of. And David solves the case of a woman with a head injury, which eventually develops into a completely different diagnosis.
David is receiving treatment, but he is becoming insecure at work and surprises everyone by preferring to stay aloof and follow the instructions of others. Maty is not well. He is convinced that a little rest will be enough for him, but it turns out that the situation is more serious. Despite the fact that Saša tries hard to get the opportunity to go on an internship, Filip decides for Rasputin. David offers to take care of Rasputin's patient in his absence. Saša treats a patient with a suspected heart attack. And a little girl appears in the emergency room, whose health condition is to blame for her father's upbringing.
Maty is in the intensive care unit after surgery. Bíba, who is waiting at Maty's place before he comes to himself, doesn't seem like something. At her insistence, Filip changes Maty's medication. As a result of long-term stress, Bíba is again reminded of her weak heart. Little Deniska was brought to the hospital with borreliosis from the children's home, who, according to the teacher, is a problematic child. Vali takes care of Deniska in the emergency room and tries to make her stay in the hospital more pleasant. Sasha is injured when a dangerous attacker attacks her. Instead of an interesting brain operation, David has to solve an ordinary case. He believes that Filip sent him away on purpose so that he could not participate in the operation. David is also slowly losing his self-confidence due to the pills. Filip tries to win Nina over to his side with flattery. Disobedient Deniska runs away from her room and supports the patient's father, who is fighting for his life. It turns out that Deniska really can win over everyone. Petra is finally healthy after being bitten by a wasp. And Prokop and Vali deal with childbirth complicated by Wilebrand's disease.
A student manages to save a lady who injured her ankle while jogging in the park in the morning. He takes her to the emergency room, where his arrival in sportswear surprises everyone. Bára is considering an offer to work in a hospital laboratory. Ondřej brings Vašík to the emergency room because Vašík cannot stand on his feet. Only now Ondřej finds out that Vašík has been complaining about pain to Linda for a long time, but Linda didn't deal with it at all and thought it was fine. But it's the last straw for Ondřej. Deniska continues to grow closer to Vali. And David treats one of Jindřich's charges, who ends up on dialysis after liver failure.
David helps treat the injured during an illegal car race and immediately goes to work. Mery blames him for not saving himself, on the contrary, Nina is delighted with his behavior. The disagreement between Nina and Mery culminates in a jealous argument. Saša is becoming really dissatisfied, she feels that Filip is not assigning her attractive cases. Jindřich is waiting for Bára on the emergency call, he came to invite Bára to an event at the farm and brought her a small gift. David discovers an unusual diagnosis in a patient with a diseased heart.
Havlena comes to Filip for the money she owes him, Filip tries to avoid him. When Professor Houska then appears and offers him money for his wife's surgery, Filip accepts the offer even though he doesn't have time. And they bring an aggressive man who was injured in a fight to the emergency room.
David shines in surgery on a patient who had a punctured heart. Professor Horký, who came to see the emergency as part of an excursion with students, offers David a job in Prague. This angers Mery, she has the impression that the whole situation was planned by Nina to drag David to Prague. Saša and Filip are looking for an opportunity to smear Bojan. Bára is not in her skin, it was enough and because of the mistake she made, the patient could have died right in the hall. And Rasputin gets the case of a worker who impaled himself on a wire at a construction site.
David receives an invitation to a cardiology conference in London, eventually finding out that Nina is behind the invitation. Filip is still trying to tarnish Bojan's name, this time through the purchase of new, overpriced devices. Deniska cannot stay in the hospital any longer, she has to return to the children's home. Růženka and Vali discover that it will not be possible to visit Deniska regularly. Eva is already serving the umpteenth shift in a row. Her fatigue causes a near-fatal mistake.
Although David was supposed to have time off to prepare for the congress in England, he has to drop in for Nina. He only gets to the preparation at night and stays with Nina overnight in his lab to help him. Filip wants Saša to arrange an audit of his mother, which will be directed against Bojan. Bara goes with Rasputin to visit the Community at the farm, while meditating Bara becomes nauseous. Rasputin immediately takes her to the hospital, despite Jindřich's objections. Rasputin finds out that the real reason is Jindřich, who convinced Bára to return to his company. Vali meets Deniska again, who accompanies an injured classmate to the emergency room. And Prokop solves the case of a mysterious variable disease.
New doctor Adam Brejcha has nightmares when he sleeps in the emergency room after a night shift. Nina wakes him up from his sleep, they are old acquaintances. David learns unpleasant news, it is about his father. He is stressed and takes it out on Mery. Jindřich tries to convince Bára to return to the community and return her financial contribution to them. Rasputin defends Bara and tries to arrange special treatment for her multiple sclerosis. And a case of a man encased in concrete appears in the emergency room.
Nina flat out tells David that she was convinced all along that the two of them would end up together. Rasputin again tries to convince Bara to leave the fellowship and start focusing more on reality. David is still successfully ignoring Adam. But it bothers Adam that David doesn't know what it was really like when their friendship fell apart, and apparently he doesn't even want to know. Two sisters are electrocuted while filming on the roof of a train. Prokop and Adam must save them.

Prokop won the poker tournament, now he can give his mother money for a washing machine and add something extra to her. Mery scolds Saša for having a mess in her documents, but she doesn't like it. The student must take Vikoušek with him to work, he will be taken care of at the emergency room. And young Jarda Lang must overcome shame to recover from a disease that can have consequences.
Libuška has changed her mind about Adam, now it is more she who starts to pursue Adam. The student announces to Vali how he decided to play a game with her for the authorities with her request. Saša, Maty and Prokop continue preparing for the surgical competition, and Saša tries to demonstrate what she can do. Prokop continues his new hobby of poker. Adam wonders if he should ask Rasputin to help him with his problem after all. Maty and Prokop lost the third doctor from the team for the upcoming competition. Willy-nilly, they have to start thinking about a replacement. And right now, Saša will show off in the best light during a risky operation on an injured rower.
Mery convinced Libuška to go back to the emergency room. Libuška agrees and pretends that the fling with Adam doesn't bother her at all. A social worker is going to visit Vali and Žáka's new family. Prokop tries to reconcile with Petra. Patient Holub appears back at the emergency room with additional and more serious symptoms. Eva is stressed about it. And Adam faces a demanding operation on little Lucie Balounová, which he is not sure if she will survive.
Maty admits a pregnant patient who is endangering her child with a small amount of ingested food. Because he refuses even the infusion, he gets into a risky health situation. Prokop's mother comes to him and reminds him that he promised her a new television, but Prokop doesn't even have the money to repay Slavík's debt. Vali and Žák are still waiting for a visit from the social worker. And Rasputin and Adam take on a patient who has cut his stomach open because they think he has an intruder inside.
Two patients whose parachutes did not open during the jump arrive at the emergency department. Only thanks to Petra, they were brought to the hospital alive. However, due to the case, Petr has an unpleasant meeting with Slavík. The first discipline of the doctoral competition awaits Maty, Prokop and Saša. Saša wants to be the best and tries to practice laparoscopy on her patient. And Mr. Holecký is suspected of domestic violence against his wife, who has bruises all over her body.
Adam has one of his anxiety attacks in the hall, he stops believing in Rasputin's treatment. Prokop is trying to ingratiate himself in high society by taking botox injections at the upcoming party in Stříbrňák. During the first round of the doctoral competition, Saša feels of little use, which is the reason for the conflict. A social worker unexpectedly appears at the hospital and asks Bojan for an opinion on Vali and Žak. And the acupuncturist's little son has to have an operation, although at first it looked like an ordinary cough.
In the case of the shot hunter, Rasputin needs Adam, but he has taken time off. Prokop returns from a party in a classy society, later one of the party participants comes to the emergency room with an allergic reaction to botox. Maty is considerate and helpful towards Eva, Libuška does not wish Eva the same, but treats her like her best friend. And the social worker is finally supposed to come to Vali and Žák for a check-up, but Vali will be delayed at work by the case of a boy with arrhythmia.
Adam hasn't come to work for several days, Mery doesn't like it and Bojan intervenes in the situation. Vali and Žáek agree that a wedding "for the eye" would be too much. Prokop accepts that the patient will claim everywhere that her allergic reaction to botox is Prokop's fault and it will ruin his reputation as a doctor. It's time for the next round of the surgical competition, but the whole team is still divided. And Vlčková reveals the "kissing bug" disease in a young patient.
